Singapore, Metro tv ,and my sweet-tangy last date.

26th dec- 2nd jan
flying to singapore is like family annual trip, seriously. To tell you the truth when i told my mom that i wanted to go there, i thought of visiting my bf and playing around with him. and what happened was, his parents made him stay in indo till 4th of jan, so yeah it was lame and stupid. I was just shortening the length of time we have :(

Anyhow. i had a good (shopping) time in singapore. :)bought 8 pairs of shoes, 2 hello kitty watches, LV large totally monogram bag, and some clothes hahaha. met my bestie anna, took a lot of pictures, celebrated nina's bday... her bf, halim came all the way just for her! how sweet..they had a candlelight dinner. .I wish my bf would give me such a wonderful surprise like that this valentine lol

I made my hubby call Metro tv on the 31st of dec. Finally good news came to me. I could start working on the 4th of jan. Happy happy happy.

So january 4th became one historical date for me. I was placed in Production & Creative Department, helping a programme called 'Healthy Life' which is shown everyday at 8-9AM. My friend Fanny was allocated at the LIVE production on Mon-Wed and I got the rest. Thur-Fri. Culinary and Gym. Mine isn't LIVE, so we have to do taping every monday, tuesday, and wednesday. Sounds busy huh?

In fact it is NOT at all. Everytime the production team does the taping, I had to sit and watch. Usually they tape 2 episodes at once, so next week they don't have to tape. It means holiday. hahahahaha. one more good thing about it, i get to meet a lot of famous indonesian actresses hahaha. Ade Rai, Samuel Rizal, Adrian Maulana, etc. Wait for my update next week ok!

Here's the worrying thing. My producer is a type of woman who never gives me work to do. Unlike other producers, Savrina's (news magazine) and Fanny's (her producer is different from mine) always give them work and 'homework'. errr. I wonder what makes HRD said the production team needs interns to help them. I better switch to news production, so I could work 9-5. haha.

what a waste of time.

Sometimes I do manage to find work myself. I asked the scriptwriter, production assistant, and fanny's producer (haha) if I could be of any assistance. So I did a lot of research about carbohydrates, hyper VS hypotension, and 'Have children nowadays chosen right role models for themselves?', as the next week's themes. If they don't tape the next week, i don't have anything to do. hahahaha. *desperado*

One day i saw the audition for reporters, and shocked. I thought they did mention that metro tv provides training for reporters and news anchors so i was kinda relieved, but i just cant believe what i saw. The candidate was a man, looked pretty experienced, aged around 25-28, fluently proficiently skillfully interviewing the judge (as the interviewee) on cam. he looked so polished and competent. OH get the shit out of me. I can't be one of them. I have to practice myself in front of the camera. T.T

My internship has opened my eye about my future career. I don't want to set my target too high, but I also don't want to waste everything that i've learnt in Melbourne, including the feeling of pain i've experienced by looking at my scores. haha. I realized there won't be much time playing around. I have to find a good english course for my english fix.

Sayonara Hubby

Let's be honest. My hubby isn't a romantic kind. He used to sing me love songs but now he's become worse since he's gone to singapore hahaha. But before his departure on January 4th, he took me to Satoo, a fine dining @ Shangri-la Hotel. On the way to the hotel he suddenly held my hand and sang for me.

I cried when he sang because i was really touched. Why in the world he's become this gentle and manly and charming and oh-so-sweet kind all of a sudden? It's really not his style of celebrating anything related to love. After the dinner finished we lit up a candle on the brownies cake he bought before, blew the candle, and ate the brownie. This is to celebrate our first year anniversary 3 months ago. Then he gave me a horoscope pendant from his mom. Mine is sagittarius, his is capricorn :)

My lovely mates, this following valentine we're not gonna be together. again. The last dinner we had was truly memorable. . It is a celebration of our first anniversary, of everything we've gone through (which was not smooth at all if you guys want to know, last year our relationship was near to its end), his farewell, as well as a valentine day for us. A ring he gave me to close our last date, was the sweetest thing of all. Everytime i see my ring on my ring finger i remember of that night. We haven't got time to emboss our name on our rings but that's okay. Can do it anytime soon. Hubby, promise me you won't abandon me anymore or this ring will be a ring of lies :(

Bye-bye hubby. love you always, xx

Thursday 24 December 2009

my super glam19th birthday and my hubby's 20th birthday

This is why i like holidays in December the most.
Our birthdays! I love parties and celebrations!

19 December, my birthday
My boyfriend came in the morning and bought me a big big cheesecake :) And ohmygod he got me a hot pink Juicy Couture purse!!!!

At night, I had a luxury birthday dinner @ The Cafe, Mulia Hotel. I did a super dark and dramatic purple smoky eyes, wore a purple satin gown borrowed from my sis,and painted an electric blue OPI nailpolish 'blue my mind' on my nails. My mom said my makeup was too much but yeah i don't care. It looked better on the camera!
My long distance hubby, Mario, he dressed way too simple as my partner but well he still looked cute :)

22 December, his birthday
not my favourite but I had to appreciate what i've done. Look. We fought over a belt, which appeared to be my gift for him. I cried and of course, ruined his day. But a dinner with his parents saved everything. They were so nice to me and invited me to come over to celebrate Mario's birthday. For the first time ever:)

My hubby couldn't stop smiling on that day. He was too happy.
